Substance sampler PAN in 2D view does not work

Hello everyone, my question seems stupid, but I wasn't able to find anything around the internet to solve my problem, which is: I'm not able to pan in the 2D view in substance sampler (steam edition), I can only scroll wheel to zoom, and that's it. The software is updated at the latest available version 3.4.1.

I didn't find anything in the preference that I might have switched off accidentally. I tried all the shortcuts but nothing worked for me. I started thinking that the feature might be entirely missing, but in many video tutorials, I've seen people doing the pan. Does anyone know what might be the issue?

the last thing I still need to try doing is uninstalling and reinstalling entirely the application, but before that I' thought it might be wise to ask here.

Which OS are you using? Are you using a trackpad or a mouse?

With a mouse, Alt + Middle Click (Win) or Option + Middle Click (Mac) allows you to pan in the 2D View

    Hello, I was using windows, with mouse.

    Alt middle click worked! Sorry for the stupid question, I though I've tried that combination of keys, however I suggest to add a redundancy of shortcuts for that in the 2D view, since no 3D motion is allowed you could set the middleclick without alt to work as well :).

    Are you talking about 3D view or 2D View? Its not possible panning in 2D view for me also but I think its by default. In 3D view you can change Mesh to Plane and use all 3D transform as usual.

    Do you also have the steam version of the app? I'm starting thinking that it might be the reason why for us it does not work.
