Good afternoon,I have a server with the "Adobe Media Server" installed and "IIS 7.5" too.I wonder how to configure a server "RTMFP" because I'm not succeeding.I have 2 IP's and 200.x.x.1 200.x.x.2, and the "IIS" "IP" is set 200.x.x.1.I have a rule in the domain that points to the "xxx.com" => "200.x.x.1" and another rule for "p2p.xxx.com: =>" 200.x.x.2 ".Can anyone give me more details of what files and sessions in which I place these values? Many thanks for the help in advance!Elcio Moreli Sant'Anaelciomsantana@gmail.com
Hi, From the instructions given at following link i have configured multi-point publishing between servers.http://help.adobe.com/en_US/adobemediaserver/devguide/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d11a0773d56e-7ffbDev.2.3.htmlbut there is no documentation how to transfer RTMFP stream between servers. Please share is there is any documentation or sample available for the same. Thanks,
We're currently experiencing an issue with live streaming over RTMFP pure IP multicast via the multicast app that's installed with AMS. Based on the observations below, we think we've encountered either an issue with the 5.x version of the multicast app, or possibly some bad configuration setings in the AMS configuration files.Symptoms:Audio cutouts and glitchinessPink artifacting over the videoOnce a stream degrades it does not seem to recover. (e.g. - continuing to stream for 8 more min)Observations:During this issue, if you monitor the ingest stream via RTMP in a separate client app at the same time the IP multicast stream is glitching the ingest stream quality is just fine. We're using Digital Rapids encoders, but we've also tested this issue with Flash Media Live Encoder. In both scenarios the symptoms manifest. These symptoms only appears to manifest in the following scenarios:Publish Stream --> wait 90 seconds --> Pause --> wait 90 seconds --> RestartConnect from the
Hi, I am working on Flex FMS video conference app, Is there any possibility to stop video and listen only audio of a broadcaster with RTMP Live without broadcaster detaching camera to Stream and should not affect other viewers video feed.Thanx & RegardsPavan
Hi Guys -Anyone have any recommendations on creating a youtube like enviroment for adobe fms?
We are facing an issue with Adobe Media Server with HLS/HDS segmentation while streaming multi-bitrate from a livepkgr event. The individual ts segments/f4f fragments are not starting with a key-frame even though rtmp publishing is done with key frames at fixed interval, as a result of which there are corruptions on some players whenever bitrate is switched and on some players, we can see older data being replayed on bitrate switching. We have tried both frame-based as well as time-based configuration in livepkgr Event.xml.Is there a way to make the HLS/HDS packaging always start at key-frame boundary? In our case,fps=30gop size=60 (2 seconds)HDS fragment size=20 secondsHLS segment size=10 secondsThanks,Nitin
Will I get phone support from Adobe after purchased Media Server Professional license or there is other subscription need to purchase to get the support?
Practical Explanation ( For Example ) :- `1st of all can you tell me every single seconds detail from that time when you born ?? ( i need every seconds detail ?? that what- what you have thought and done on every single second )can you tell me every single detail of your `1 cheapest Minute Or your whole hour, day, week, month, year or your whole life ??if you are not able to tell me about this life then what proof do you have that you didn't forget your past ? and that you will not forget this present life in the future ?that is Fact that Supreme Lord Krishna exists but we posses no such intelligence to understand him.there is also next life. and i already proved you that no scientist, no politician, no so-called intelligent man in this world is able to understand this Truth. cuz they are imagining. and you cannot imagine what is god, who is god, what is after life etc._______for example :Your father existed before your birth. you cannot say that before your birth your father don,t exi
I want to have a media file that I can stream at multiple bitrates using FFMPEG (for encoding and multiple bitrate generation) and Flash Media Server (for streaming). In "LIVE BROADCASTING" ffmpeg made multiple bitrate videos from a single bitrate source but there were no files for the different bitrates. A file would be created for different bitrates when a viewer requested that bitrate streaming video but when a request was terminated the generated file was deleted. So I searched in Flash Media Server and found (hds-vod), but in hds-vod I should create one file for every bitrate, for example if I have 2000 videos in my archive with HD quality (1024 kbps) I should make 4 videos with different bitrates from one video and together I have created 10,000 videos. So to have 2000 videos in five bitrates (1024k, 760k, 320k, 145k, 64k), and now I have 10,000 videos. I have space for 2000 videos and I don't have free space in my server for 10,000 video files.I want to stream "ON-DEMAND" vi
Hi All,I know this question has been asked before, but it seems there is no way to restrict anyone from publishing to a FMS 5 server with a "non" FME encoder. We are setting up a FMS 5 Server within a single domain (behind firewall) and so domain restriction and IP address resrtiction will not work for us.We have installed the User Add in for FME and were able to create Users, but if we use an encoder like Wirecast, we can type anything as ID and PW and it works. Is there a Allow / Deny string we can use in one of the server XML files to only allow the user file to be read and authenticae only from what we want?
is there a way for me to limit the number of concurrent connections to the media server. my upload bandwitdh is about a meg so having too many connections just kills the whole thing. i would like to put a limit at 5 connections. is there a way to do this?
We are a government broadcast facility charged with broadcasting live meetings via the internet. We need to upgrade our available video to provide Flash, but everything needs to be captioned. Our live captions are done via a caption encoder that embeds on Line 21. We currently are SD only and don't caption HD live. My research indicates that for closed captioning in a flash environment, the captions need to be embeded in the onCaptionInfo metadata. It appears that the Flash Media Server supports this, but I don't see any way to tell the Adobe software encoder to do this. I'm currently testing with Brightcove as a CDN, and they do support onCaptionInfo in their player. If the data is present, a CC button will appear in their player. So far in my tests, I haven't been able to provide this metadata for the player to interpret. I've even tried shifting lines through a frame sync on the fly anywhere from -4 to +4 to no avail.Am I missing something? Can the Adobe encoding software even do th
options given to directly 'capture' the user's feed. We are aware of only Flash Media Server - Developer version which has very limited functionality. We would like to have your input on the same whether Flash Media Server - Interactive can be used to record user's camera feed directly to the webserver? Please suggest ASAP.
I know there is spec at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/rtmp.html but is there a newer version? RTMP has developed and its Messages are carried over RTMFP and there is no update to the spec!
I am trying to find the latest installer for AMG, as no update was included with the AMS 5.0.3 patch. Is AMG going to be abandonded too, should I even bother attempting to develop for it now?Bridging Flash with WebRTC applications is going to become increasingly useful as people start getting used to video chatting more and more often.AIR is not even close to dead on mobile, and should not be thought of that way. So i sure hopeAdobe gives AMG the support it deserves. The same to AMS.
Hi, I want to share an experience that I am testing,With HLS streaming, we noticed that using HE-AAC we have little audio jumps listening on iPhone. We try AAC codec and it sounds better.Just that
Hi, I cant get this solve. Hi guysI want to configure the FMS to use the files from network folder like \\server_name\folder1As I can understand from doc, the FMS service must run under DOMAIN account instead of Local system. The FMS 3.5 is installed on Windows 2003 Server. When I change server Logon As DOMAIN\User1 in the Service properties andtrying to start service, it raises an error: "Failed to create process mutex".DOMAIN\User1 is in the local administrator group. No problems with access to file system. Do you have any idea why this error happens?I have configured the FMSHttpd service and it works fine. Thanks in advance for your help

Hi! Is there a way to get a snapshot of a live streaming RTMP feed? I've tried BitmapData.draw, but this causes a sandbox violation. Is there a way around this? Is there a way (ANY way) to grab a still image from a live RTMP stream and save it to disc? Thanks in advance, K.
I tried to record a stream which is published with H.264 codec and the telephony (PCMU) codec with a Flash Player 11+ client. The stream plays fine live but when I try to record it, I get the following error on the status of the stream: NetStream.Record.NoAccess. The file is created on disk but has only 21 KB, never more, never less. This is my log:10:21:49.550 info Stream (record_Aaj3g/u28_T32l87h.f4v) status: NetStream.Data.Start (level: undefined, length: 0 sec.)10:21:49.554 info Stream (record_Aaj3g/u28_T32l87h.f4v) status: NetStream.Publish.Start (level: status, length: 0 sec.)10:21:49.556 info Stream (record_Aaj3g/u28_T32l87h.f4v) status: NetStream.Play.Reset (level: status, length: 0 sec.)10:21:50.107 info Stream (record_Aaj3g/u28_T32l87h.f4v) status: NetStream.Record.Start (level: status, length: 0 sec.)10:21:59.962 info Stream (record_Aaj3g/u28_T32l87h.f4v) status: NetStream.Record.NoAcce
We are facing performance issues (high initial delay, frequent buffering) while trying to stream (HDS/HLS) VOD content recorded through AMS.We have modified the livepkgr server action script (main.asc) to record 2 copies of the content - 1 for live publishing (4 second f4f fragments) and another for recording VOD for entire program duration. For small duration content (less than 30 minutes), HDS streaming is fine through f4fhttp module. When content grows greater than 30 minutes, we start facing problems of delay, buffering. It seems the apache module f4fhttp takes long time to serve f4m as well as f4f fragments for longer content. On analysing the content, it contains metadata stream (amf0) which differentiates this content from regular VOD f4v file which has only video, audio stream. And surprisingly, if we modify the content to remove this amf0 stream, the content plays fine from f4fhttp module. The delay, buffering are gone.My queries are:- Is this a known issue with AMS apache f4fht
