Question

AI Tools (Remove & Generative Fill) Create Different Color Patches

Hi,

I've been experiencing an issue with Photoshop for several months. When using AI-powered tools like Remove Tool or Generative Fill, the generated areas often have a different color than the rest of the image, making the results unusable in many cases.

I use Photoshop on two different computers, and the issue occurs on both, affecting both the stable version and the BETA version.

Things I’ve tried:

- Changing Photoshop settings
- Disabling GPU support
- Adjusting cache levels
- Updating my graphics drivers
None of these solutions have helped.

System details:

Photoshop version: Latest stable & BETA (issue persists across multiple updates)
Language: Polish
Operating Systems: Windows 10 & Windows 11

Example of the issue:
Below, you can see an example where I tried to fix an area in the top right corner. To highlight the problem, I applied the Remove Tool and Generative Fill, then slightly brightened the image.

Image 1: Original
Image 2: Edited with Remove Tool
Image 3: Edited with Generative Fill
This issue has persisted through multiple Photoshop updates. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any solutions?

Thanks in advance!

The problem is still ongoing. It's been six months and there's been no fix or even an answer...

I have noticed the same thing in beta. I haven't tried it in the stable version. It usually creates kind of a pink cast. No idea how to fix it
