Alt key does not work in pen tool in Beta 25.5

If I use the official Photoshop release, the alt key works fine when using the pen tool, but in the beta version, pressing the alt key turns the cursor into the color picker icon.

Normal kann man beim Zeichnen mit dem Zeichenstift-Werkzeug nach einem Bogen mit Kombination Alt Taste auf den Ankerpunkt klicken um den neuen Anfasser zu Löschen, damit man weiter frei zeichnen kann. Das funktioniert in der aktuellen Beta Version nicht. Es erscheint dann ein Pipettenwerkzeug ohne Funktion?

I have encountered some difficulties with the pen tool in Photoshop 25.4. Since the latest update, the pen tool does not work as it should. For instance, when I try to remove an anchor point, the convert point tool does not switch on automatically. Also, the eyedropper tool appear when i press ALT button. These problems are affecting my workflow and productivity. I would appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to resolve this error.

It's a known bug in Photshop Beta and the engineers are aware. Use the released version until it is fixed.

While working on the project simultaneously, my partners screen would go dark and no image of the file would show. On my end the edits would show then all the current edits would revert back to previous edits made.

There's a known issue with 25.4 beta in that it won't let you duplicate a layer to another open document, nor can we drag it to the other document's tab, and thus into the other document. It's just conceivable that is a hint of similarity between that and your issue.

I was going to suggest that you try Window > Arrange > New window for [current document] and see if they synced, but I tested it myself, and it failed.

That is to say, it created the new window, but Photoshop puts up and error message when I try to make further edits to either window. I suspect that could be the same issue causing your problem.

The above issue and the Pen tool Alt/Opt modifier issue make 25.4 beta unusable as far as I am concerned, so I hope they are working hard on a fix.

In the past, I could remove the handle line with the ALT key in the Pen tool. Now when I press ALT the color picker eyedropper appears and I can't remove the handle line.
