Auto-Select - Group - is only moving a single layer - not a group!

I'm using the Beta version of Photoshop.  I have the Auto-select set to Group, but when I try to move a group of layers together, only one layer moves when using the mouse.  If I use the cursors on my keyboard (takes forever) - it will move the whole group.  Am I doing something wrong?  Sorry I don't know technical terms or anything so forgive my ignorance.  It's just taking me forever to move groups.  Thank you.
