Beta and Non beta cannot open at same time

When I have photoshop beta open and I click non-beta, it maximises beta and doesn't open non beta.

Likewise when i have non beta open and I click to open beta, it just maximises non beta and doesn't open beta.

This means I cannot run both the beta and non beta at the same time, which makes it difficult to compare/contrast. This issue doesn't happen with other adobe beta programs.  11-05_at_08.15_PM_2_.mp4

Correct answer Dramenon

It has always been the case, be design, that only one instance of the same version of Ps can be opened.
22.0 or 22.x. 23.0 or 23.x

One can open different versions of Ps at the same time. 20 and 21 or 20 and 23 etc.

Hi Daniel,

Thats never been the case for me and others I know that have Creative Cloud, in fact, as you can see in screenshot below, I have both Beta and non Betas of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Media Encoder, opened all at the same time, and all of them running the same Version (V22).

The only program that doesn't open both Beta and Non Beta at the same time is Photoshop/Photshop Beta. Which is why im reporting it as a bug.

Hi John,

Other Adobe apps may have different simultaneous-launch rules on Windows. For Photoshop, this has been the case as far back as I can remember on Windows.

MacOS is a different story, you can have both the Photoshop release and the Beta open simultaneously there.

Sorry to not have your desired answer here. Appreciate the report!

Regards,

Pete
