Cannot resample in pixels

I am trying to resize images using pixel dimensions. Every time I uncheck the "Resample" box, the option to use pixels turns gray and unavailable.

Hi @skilled_Galaxy1679 this is working as designed.

"Resample" by definition means changing the actual number of physical pixels (horizontal and/or vertical). So if resampling is "off" the physical pixel dimensions cannot change.

This mode is often used to change resolution/relative ruler unit dimensions without actually changing the number of pixels in the image.

Thanks,

Has it always worked this Way Cory?  I noticed it myself a few days ago, and I don't think I remember seeing it prior to that.

Thanks Cory, but I agree with Trevor. It feels that this was different before. I am almost sure I used to change the resolution, and the pixels would change accordingly.
