Cannot save an open file

After opening a new file and doing some editing, it will not allow me to save it at all. You can perform some more editing actions, but you cannot save the file under any circumstances. Only solution is to force quit the program. This is the first thing that happened when I opened the update.

@Jym SDX 118 the first part is showing where your prefs file lives based on your OS... you could simply move that prefs file onto your desktop and restart Ps beta.

The second part is a workflow do launch Ps beta and do the same thing, it is up to you which method you prefer.

The link is to the helpx doc that explains what this process is and why it may help you.

Thanks,

Before I give this a bash, are these two separate suggestions (Resetting prefs, or try Launch with keyboard shortcut), or an inclusive method (Resetting pref + Launch with keyboard shortcut)?

Thanks,

Jym

Hi @Jym SDX 118

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.
