CR3 files won't open in Beta - error message

Question

I'm getting an error when trying to open CR3 images that I've opened in September 2024.

I've tried opening a number of them.

Each time, it says the file is damaged and can't be opened.

Fortunately I can open the CR3 files using PS 2025 without any issues.

Both apps are up to date.

I'm on an Apple M2, OS Sequoia 15.5.

Sometimes, for whatever reason macOS flags files and prevents them from opening.

When you get the above message go to Apple>System Settings>Privacy & Security and scroll down till you see the name of the file and where says the file was blocked to protect your Mac, to the right of that will be an Open Anyway button.
