Hi Adobe Suppprt & Community.

I'm wanting to try the latest generative funciation from the Photoshop (Beta) v24.6. I'm having issue where I have been checking for update it does not give me the latest photoshop (beta) 24.6. I'm currently stuck at v24.5 and the creative cloud says it is up to date. Is this becasue the newest beta is only available in the US, or is there another way to get the latest version?

Thanks

S

I am having the same problem. Restarted CC app several times, clicked Check for Updates, installed/uninstalled the beta several times, but it only shows version v24.5.

Is Adobe doing a gradual rollout?

IF you have an individual subscription, reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

if that fails, repair per https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-install-stuck.html

if that fails, uninstall using the correct uninstaller from https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-messaging and then reinstall using*

if that fails, do a clean cc install carefully following each applicable step:

uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-messaging

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

check for, and if available, update your os

if windows is your os, repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired (use google if you don't know how to do this)

if windows is your os update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated (use google if you don't know how to do this)

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

NOTE: win 11 users that have trouble with the latest win 10 installer often have success with the older win 10 installer.

Hi can you try this link and tell us if it works?

the link given by you leads me to a new tab offering a button "Get the Photoshop (beta) app". When clikcing this, a notification appears to open the CC client. In the client there is also a button called "try the Photoshop (beta) app" (see screenshot attached). When clikcing this, nothing happens.

I have tried this a few times now. Logged out and in again, restartet my PC, restarted CC, checked for updates...

Do you have any recommendations on what to do?

the whole section "Beta apps" is missing when opening Creative Cloud. What can I do to access the latest Beta?

beta apps are listed separately and are not part of the normal app update process (unless and until they move out of beta).
