Cropped image leaves center of screen

When I crop in Beta the cropped imaged jumps to the bottom right of the screen. Only part of the image is visible. I have to manually move it back to the center so I can continue with post processing. It does not happen with non-beta Photoshop. Is there a preference/setting I need to make to allow my cropped image to remain in the center of the screen? Thank you.
