Question

De-Select Shortcut

Just recently I have been finding with Beta 25.12 (m.2694) that I am sometimes unable to use the Ctrl D shotcut to turn off a selection.  It happens when the Contextual Task Bar has a De-Select button, and I have to use the mouse and click on that button to continue working.  AFAICT this is intermittant, and I can't reproduce it at will.

I'm interested to know if anyone else has seen this before I try resetting Preferences?  I'll add to this thread if I can make it happen again.

I have just remembered that the CTB Deselect button is active when this happens, so I expect simply hitting Return/Enter would complete the deselect.   I could probably also hit Escape and then use Ctrl D.  I'll try and remember to test this if/when it happens again, but I am sure most people do this stuff using muscle memory without thinking, so no guarantee that I won't mess up and forget.
