Enable “Hair Smoothing” & “Hair Structure Enhancement” Neural Filters

Hello, I'm an active user of Photoshop Beta (v26.6 m.3042) on Windows x64 and would love to access the new Neural Filters: “Hair Smoothing” and “Hair Structure Enhancement.” I work with fine art portraiture, and these filters would greatly assist my retouching process.

Please enable access to these features or let me know how to join their early testing group.

Thank you!
Best,
Vilma

Hi, Asis! Where did you learn about the existence of these new filters? 😔 I've looked them up on google but I found nothing (other than this post, of course), at least at this moment.

Hi! I heard about it from colleagues – it was mentioned during a workshop that Adobe is currently testing various new filters. Seems like they're not public yet, so not much info online at the moment. 😊

Thanks, Vilma!! 🙏 I assume that workshop is not available as an online recording, is it?

Thanks so much for moving the discussion and passing my suggestion to the team! 🙏 I’m really curious – has anyone here already had a chance to test this feature or maybe seen it in action somewhere? Would love to hear some impressions.

Could you explain what Fine Art Portaiture is please?

Is it different from ordinary portrait photography?

Does it have to be B&W to count as Fine Art?

I'd love to understand how it works.

Thanks.

Fine Art Portraiture is portrait photography where artistic vision, emotion, and storytelling are key. It differs from regular portraiture in that every detail (light, pose, color, retouching) is used intentionally – to evoke a feeling, not just capture a likeness.

It doesn’t have to be black and white – color is often used too, if it supports the mood. It’s more about a creative approach than a specific technique.
