Enlargement of Generative Fill layers crashs PS

I was enlarging Generative Fill layer and PS 24.7 m.2223 crashed twice during the process. Interestingly, it was happening if I enlarged the layer a bit using one handle, then dragged another handle to enlarge it in opposite direction.

    Driver version: 31.0.15.3598 - it is alwasy best to make sure you drivers are up-to-date, we have had other customers who say:

     

    "Download the Studio Driver from NVidia (I am using v531.61 which is not the latest but I know it is stable on my RTX3090) When installing select Advanced Options - Clean Install. That will overwrite remnants of any old drivers.

    Do not install GeForce Experience, that is for games. For Photoshop you don't need it."

     

    Also, make sure you are using the most powerful GPU, not both:

    Hi, thanks for your suggestions. Graphic drivers are managed by my IT department but I'l negotiate switching to Studio ones. I'll also tweak nVidia panel settings.

      Driver version: 31.0.15.3598 - it is alwasy best to make sure you drivers are up-to-date, we have had other customers who say:

        Hi,

        Unfortunately I managed to rescale the layer at the third attempt and now the file doesn't want to misbehave 🙂

        I'm using legacy scaling setting with Shift-press neccessary to constrain scaling. For sure I was fiddling with Shift and Alt during the process.
