Experiencing Issues with New Brush Features in Photoshop (Beta)

Hello, fellow creatives,

I've been exploring the latest Photoshop version (Beta), and I'm particularly intrigued by the new brush features that have been introduced. However, I seem to be encountering some issues with brush lag and inconsistencies when using them on my tablet.

Has anyone else experienced similar challenges? If so, how did you manage to resolve them? Also, are there any workarounds or settings adjustments that you've found to improve brush performance in the beta version?

Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated as I navigate these new updates!

Are you talking about the Adjustment Brush?

If yes, then you shouldn't be seeing any lag, as it is basically just a quick way to access Adjustment layers, and the brush reveals the effects in the layer mask. Like so many tools that use a cursor though, you can make the brush size up 5000 pixels, and select complex presets. So if you are working on very large image, and have the cursor set to a large size, that could slow things down. Right click in the document window, and see what preset you are using, and how big it is.
