External edit from Lightroom Classic to Photoshop (Beta) error .

When I do an external edit from Lightroom Classic to PS(Beta) I get an error (see image attatched) I have tracked this down to the external file type set in LRC preferences to Tiff rather than PSD. Strangely PS(Beta) creates a PSD file which is passed back to LRC.  Setting the preference file type to PSD is fine and both file types work fine on the non Beta Photoshop 2025 .
