Generate fill stopped working all of a sudden

On the latest version of PS, I was trying to use AI generative fill to "enlarge" a few photos.  The green progress bar goes to the end, but 30min later, it is still at the end.  I tried the standard stuff: restart PS, restart computer etc.. nothing worked.  I tried using AI generative fill for other photos, same problem.  Looks like something is broken, not sure how to fix, any workaround available?
