Generative AI fill

Hi all, I am trying to turn a photo into a watercolor using generative fill. I have followed several tutorials by going into quick mask with a 30-50% grey and filling with watercolor but all I get as an outpur layer is blue blobs (attached).  I have tried using different prompts and each one gets me this blue image. Any thoughts? Thank you!
