Generative Background Fill As a Photo Editor

I am a photo editor for wedding and studio photographers and need some clarity on the usage terms for photoshp beta's generative fill. As my clients are also asking me if they are able to use it to edit a photo easier for their clients.

Can I use generative fill for background extensions on their photos such as extending the backdrop or adding and inch or two all around an image? Not sure if that falls under the "not for commercial use" guidelines because I am not selling these photos as stock or such.

Plain and simple you cannot use Generative Fill for any Commercial use - background extensions or whatever else. You are paid as a retoucher for editing wedding and studio photography - that is the definition of "commercial use".

Thanks for the reply.

I am not trying to be hard headed here and just looking for clarification.  Are we able to share on social media, a before and after of our own personal work just to show as a "how to". I have seen and been told by others this was ok, as it's not paid work. Thought I'd ask here to be sure.

thanks
