Generative Credits

I'm confused... I'm told that there's been changes to Generative Credits and that there'll be a "hard cap" for some people, depending on your plan. But... I'm out of credits, and Photoshop stopped working for me, but Firefly continues to work just fine. Did I miss something? I want to know exactly how this works and how to manage it. Thank you.
