Generative fill USES TOO MUCH STORAGE

The storage on my device drops by a few GB everytime I use generative fill. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue and has found the answer to why this is happening.

My main concern isn't just that it's using a lot of space for each time you hit "GENERATE". The issue is that I don't know where on my device I could go to clear up the space used

Hi @NassanOkean GF is saving your recovery file and scratch disk data. Everytime you generate a new set of images, your file size grows.  If you delete the unwanted variations, Ps will save the recovery file and recalculate the scratch disk space for you for that session of work.

Hi @NassanOkean how much free disk space do you have available under Preferences/Settings>Scratch Disk?

Yeah, I'm having the same issue, though, and I do delete all the unwanted variations. Only keeping one variation dropped my memory by 25gb. So, I too am wondering if this is normal
