Generative Fill With Sensitive Images

I work for a company that does training for the military. We have some concerns about images with sensitive subject matter being uploaded online. When using generative fill, does it actually upload the image to the cloud for processing or would it be safe to use on these images? If it does upload the image to the cloud, we would not be able to use this tool when it goes live. If that is the case would we be able to disable this tool so the artists don't accidentally upload images to the cloud?

I would suggest you try deactivating your internet connection and then using that functionality.

If it works: you're good. 🙂

Hi , I've moved your post from the Photoshop forum to the Photoshop Beta forum where you are more likely to get answers relevant to your issue

Generative fill is processed on Adobe's servers, so you might want to not use that feature.

We got by just fine without it until now, when everybody seems to consider it a necessity.

I think you should post on the Beta Forum as the feature is not part of the general release yet.

Quite frankly I doubt it will be possible to disable individual features but one has been able to hide Menu Items (Edit > Menus) for years.

This does not actually remove the feature, so it may not suffice if you are editing sensitive material and you don’t completely trust everybody involved and the computers work online …
