Generative Upscale: Am I meant to be impressed?

Question

I tried out the new Generative Upscale at 4x in Photoshop 26.11.0 20250806.m.3173 cae8b1d x64 (beta, PublicBeta).

Original photo is at the top, then below from left to right is Image Resize 400%, Generative Upscale 4x and Topaz AI 3.3.3 (old now) Scaled 4x.

If this is the best Adobe can do, I'm far from impressed.
