When I try to use generative fill I get this error message after I press Generate. And nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Guys I can't believe it but after trying out a million different things to solve it I finally got rid of the error 1000

This is how I solved it on a Mac:

Go to Settings -> Network -> Details (on your network) ->  Then in the left menu click on Proxies -> Then disable everything but most important HTTP and HTTPS proxies

SOLUTION FOUND

I went back to the same place where Beta apps are found

Clicked on the 3 options dots on the side of Photoshop beta and chose older version.
I installed the previous version and tried to use it.

It give the error message that Generative fill is only available on the latest version and asked to update.

I updated to the latest version and restarted my computer.
Generative fill is back on the menu boys!

Same error on pc. Which is a shame because I have added the use of this feature to my workflow and have multiple projects depending on it. I think Adobe has just turned off the feature without alerting its users as usual.

I can guarantee this error is popping up due to server traffic.

this morning everything worked fine, now about 8 hours later, nothing works anymore... rebooted, made sure my DNS isnt blocking anything... maybe the servers are at capacity or in maintenance ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Having same issue right now. Disabling the proxies didn't work for me.

None of these instructures are the actual menue names so it's quite unhelpfull. I was able to get to somethign similar.  apple - system preferences - network - "advanced" on your connection - proxies... but in that location all th eproxies are already unchecked.

I was able to generate about 4 images... then the error started. and now is persistance, even on restarts
