You’re right Göran, it’s not there and I’m on the latest beta after a preferences reset too. I’m using Mac so I don’t know if it’s a Windows version only option? Seems a bit weird if it is. Maybe it’ll return in the next beta update

Thank´s for letting me know. I´m on a pc, so it´s the same.  it seems that some have this feature and some don´t. Maybe they use a non official beta app specifically for developers?

Terry White’s video strongly implies this should be part of the 27.6 release.  But, he switched to beta to show the credit usage panel.  Maybe next release...

    @Göran Persson

I see one thing in your screenshot that I don’t see in Trevor’s. Can you click the drop-down arrow on the far right and let us know whether or not that reveals anything?

I’m pretty sure it is only in the 27.7 beta version right now.

It’s in the Contextual Task Bar when you click on Generate and top right corner of the workspace.

It’s a cool feature, and very welcome as it was longwinded finding the information via the CC desktop app.  The Features tab is also very useful giving us an idea of how many credits different Ai tools use.

I feel sure it will come to the release version real soon.

I also have the latest version of Photoshop Beta 27.7 ( 20260429.m.3521) and it not there either. I have tried to reset the app, reinstall it.  signing out from the Creative Cloud app, restartet the computer - nothing helps. That goes both for the beta app as well as the regular version. This feture isn't there at all. All other new feuters are there and works well.

@Göran Persson Go Help > System Info  you need to see 27.7 m.3521

You can force an update using the steps below in the Creative Cloud Desktop app.  This sometimes finds updates when using the usual Apps list fails.

If you have m.3521 and you still don’t see that icon then I am not sure what is going on.

    You know you have to:

    1. make a selection
    2. click on Generate in the Contextual Task Bar

e.g. Selection made but no icon

    Click on Generate, icon appears

If you are doing that and have m.3521 and you still don’t see the icon, then all I can think is to reset Preferences, but I think you might have already done that.  Tell us if you are still stuck and we’ll try paging one of the Adobe employees.

You should also ask this in the Beta forum.  I’ll go check there to see if anyone else has the same problem.

According to the relese notes there is such a new feature, but there isn´t. At least not in the Swedish version Photoshop. I can see my credit status on the home screen profil icon though

In the Beta v27.7.0 20260429.m.3521  - click where shown below in the Contextual Task Bar

or click at the top right of the options bar

    Either gives the same information

I just installed the Beta version to test, and it’s showing both in the options bar and the contextual task bar

Have you tried manually resetting the Photoshop Beta preferences

@Göran Persson in the Video from Julianne, she’s using the 27.6 Beta version, so the feature more than likely hasn’t been implemented into the final release of version 27.6.

There’s no mention of it on the what’s new page

    Or the release notes

But it isn´t in the beta version either (beta 27.7)

Have you checked the contextual task bar, according to the release notes for version 27.7 beta it should be there
