I started having a version of this problem today, after years of using Command+Shift+Option+E on my Mac to merge visible selected layers into a new layer. The keyboard shortcut doesn't work, and the trick of holding the Option key while selecting the Menu Command "Merge Visible" doesn't work. This Stamp Layer command is invaluable to me (and no, using Smart Object layers is not the same for me). I have tried resetting preferences, on quit and start; no luck, which is a real shame since I obtained all the disadvantages of resetting to default and gained no advantage. All my Adobe CC apps are up to date. I changed nothing on my Mac Studio (M2 Ultra/MacOS Tahoe). Stamp Visible simply stopped working  when I closed one image and began working on a new image, even though I had not quit PS. In the latest PS Beta 27.3.0, there’s a bug where pressing the CTRL-ALT-Shift-E shortcut triggers an error instead of merging to a new top layer while keeping the history layers visible. This function worked fine in the previous Beta, and the current regular PS version 27.02 still works as expected. Hopefully, the programmers will fix the CTRL-ALT-Shift-E shortcut in the next Beta release.

I tried a couple methods to create an Adjustments preset in PS Beta 27.3.0. Selecting the layer and clicking the "+" sign in the Adjustments Layer did not bring up a Preset dialog. Nor did the Adjustment Panel menu list an option to add/save a Preset. Finally, I succceeded by (1) first clicking the "+" sign in Adjustments Panel; (2) then selecting the Adjustment layer and clicking Duplicate layer; (3) only then, as the confirmation/naming dialog opened for that action, a separate dialog blinked open to save the Adjustment layer as a Preset. After I named the Preset, it appeared at the bottom of the Adjustment preset menu. Apparently, lining the layer up to be duplicated convinces the app that there is, indeed, a layer waiting to be saved as a Preset — assurance the "+" sign action won't act without.

I'm searching how to export SDR view in Photoshop, with the same rendering as it appears in Camera Raw. I searched, many people are asking the same thing but nobody aswer to this question.

Photoshop beta v27.3.0L'outil dégradé ne fonctionne plus comme avant. Normalment nous nouvons déplacer le dégradé pour le mettre ou l'on veux ou bien l'affiner maintenant il n'est plus possible de le faire. 

If I open a picture in Photoshop within Windows explorer (Right-click on the image, open with Photoshop) then de tools pictograms are not visible. Happens in the 2025 version.

Afternoon's! 🙂I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to get the HDR button active (instead of greyed out) in Adobe Photoshop Beta when I'm using Camera Raw. I'm specifically on the Beta version because of some new features I want to use for editing, but I noticed that in this Beta, the HDR toggle stays inactive for me.Now, I know in Lightroom Classic and even in the cloud-based version of Lightroom, I can turn on HDR mode on a JPEG and see those brighter nit values just fine, so I’m a bit confused. I already went into Preferences > Technology Previews and enabled "Precise Color Management for HDR display," then restarted Photoshop Beta as instructed, but the HDR button in Camera Raw is still greyed out.So I’m just looking for some guidance here: is this a known Beta limitation or a bug that anyone else has run into? Or is there another setting I might be missing to get HDR editing working properly in Photoshop Beta?Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi, just that! - Transforming Smart objects crashes photoshop.I use a lot of smart obejcts, to keep objects high quality dimensions, etc. And, in this last 2 or 3 updates of Photoshop Bets, when I click -T, the photoshop crashes 80% of the times. It's nerve wracking.If you could fixit will be amazing. Thanks a lotBest,Rita Cesário 

I don't know if it's really a bug or just a feature incoming but i wanted to create an action to automate the use of the embroidery parametric filter. My will is to optimize the process of import images and giving them the embroidery filter.  Any clue ?

What happened to the Paint Bucket in Photoshop?It literally does not work anymore.I have used it for years and now I cannot fill in any areas. 

Went to record an action to batch process my 100 frames with same set of... actions.And now it's all broken down into the new default "Actions" and a harder to get to "Classic Actions".But the default one has no way to record your own? Does that mean "Classic Actions" and recording your own - are considered a thing of the past? Why would Photoshop consider users recording their own actions no longer important?  I am confused by this UI change.

I have an image with a 'normal' background where I added animals as smart objects.  (dragged in as SO and decreased size with ctl-T transform) I decided later to increase the image size and was curious what would happen to the smart objects. Actually most increased by the same amount as the background so looked like before. But a couple were bigger??? Don't understand why? And I don't understand why they wouldn't all behave the same way. All were at higher resolution than the background before and after resize.

Facing Issue with the Neural Filter menu from last 2 months. Initially few options like the Skin Smoothening and Photo Restoration werent operating properly but now the entire Neural Filter Menu doesnt load and shows blank page. Updated the photoshop on regular basis but still the issue persists. Kindly look into this at the earliest. I have to rely on other applications to restore my images which is costing me a lot and also its time cosuming to switch applications again and again.

Recently, a thread was opened here by someone else to discuss re-adding the search bar when navigating cloud files. This was brought back on the app landing page; however, it's still missing the search bar when browsing cloud files through 'File > Open'. This is the most common way I open files while working, and it's a pain not to be able to search for my files during sessions. Any chance we could have that back? Thanks in advance.

My settings have all got messed up, I lost ALL actions from the dedicated tab, some commands stopped working mid-task. I really hope it gets fixed.  Anyone else experienced the same thing?This was NOT the Christmas gift I expected from Adobe. 😞

Hi. I'm struggling to uninstall Photoshop Beta 25.1.0.2304. With other apps I could just install them again and then it would uninstall correctly but this version is not available for download through the CC app. Already tried Adobe CC Cleaner Tool but it doesn't even list the app. When I try to uninstall through Windows installed apps panel it throws the warning "Specified product is not installed on this machine". Any suggestions?

Seen a big difference of resolution quality from nano banano pro generation, we should be able to choose the quality
