Hi everyone, there is an update to the Library and it is being rolled out in stages, so please come back and update us on if you are still seeing this issue after March 11th.

Thanks,

One last thing: my work-around for this is I use the search capability in Bridge, find my library graphic, and drag it into Photoshop.

I'm not sure what your instructions mean. Am I supposed to go to a subdirectory and delete something and then start the beta while pressing the keys you identify? Or just open beta while using the keys? (I tried the latter way and now library search returns absolutely nothing even when I'm in a particular library. So I'm going backwards 😘

I've previously checked the release version, and it searches perfectly.

Hi @Nicholas32650191v2vh no issues here, could you share a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings )Win)
Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

When I search all libraries (using the library panel in Photoshop beta 25.5. m2484 in Windows 11, I get no search results for terms that exist in the names of library objects. E.g., I have at least 3 library graphics containing the term trinity, but searching all libraries fails to find them. If I search the particular library in which some of these objects are located, I do get accurate results. AND, after that successful search of a particular library, a search of all libraries also successfully finds the objects.

Hi @Pelegrinus could you share a video or screenshots of your workspace and what you are seeing?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thanks,

The libarary panel does not appear to index library items, and search results incorrectly are null or incomplete. I can use Bridge to do library searches, and Bridge shows proper results. Windows 11 desktop, Photoshop Beta version 25.5 m.2464
