Menu items moving around

Hi. When I click on the hamburger menu in the layers palette, all of the items move around. It's frustrating to have to search for flatten image especially when it doen't have a shortcut. It's normally close to the bottom, but now sometimes it moves up to the top. Leaving the items in the same oder and graying out the ones that aren't valid at the time is better then them moving around.

Hamburger?  I'd be interested to know what that is?

When I click on the hamburger, the options that come up are moving around. They change places depending on which layer I'm on when I click the hamburger. Here's a screenshot of how it used to look and a screenshot with flatten image at the top.  The others options are moving as well. If the layer visability is off, flatten image is at the bottom. If the layer is visable, it is at the top.

@Marnie5FB0

The menu items do not move around for me, but if they did I would reset my preferences , knowing that something was amiss. You can reset from Preferences > General or you can do a manual reset by renaming the file so it can be restored. A new file will be created when you relaunch.

Backup, then Reset. Details here:

Thanks Jane. I’ll try that. For now, I created a shortcut so I don’t have to search for the flatten image option.

Thanks,
Marnie
