menus fold in after use

Hey all!

I downloaded Photoshop Beta and I am encountering a few things that seem to make my workflow way more irritating than in photoshop 2023.

The most nervewrecking is that when i use a menu from the sidebar (layers, text, libraries etc) it folds back in after clicking on the artwork. So when I unfold 'layers' for instance, I'd unfold the layers menu from the sidebar. As soon as my cursor is on the artwork, the 'layers; fold back, making e set of actions with layers quite a nuisance. 

I am sure I should be able to change that back in 'menus stay folded open when working' but i can't find it anywhere in the preferences. Does anyone here know?
