Missing Backdrop Creator Neural Filter

I have version 24.0.1 of Photoshop, and have been watching tutorials on the new and improved Neural Filters. I seem to have all of them except the Backdrop Creator. Is this one only available to certain users? How can I get it too?

Hey all, want to make sure you both are talking about Ps BETA (24.1.0) as this is the only place Backdrop Creator is available currently? Ps 24.0.1 is the general release version and maybe that is where this confusion is? This is the Photoshop beta forum and we want to make sure we are all on the same page.

Thank you,

Cory

Hi Cory. My mistake. In the tutorials showing this feature, I had thought it was in Photoshop 2023, not the Beta version. I downloaded PS Beta and it is there (and fun to play with).

Now riddle me this - Where do I find the Content Credentials (Beta) feature in Photoshop?? I cannot locate that in either version...

Hi @Lauren229027235274 that sounds odd. We are seeing it here. You might want to try trashing your prefs and reinstall to see if it shows up.

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:

/Users/yoourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut

With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

Thank you,

Hi, please more help for the same problem on win 10 desktop. After this: ''With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.'' no change, Backdrop Creator still missing.
