Move tool have error moving an object to a smart object

When trying toi update a smart object, moving and object to the psb file triggers an error.

I keep getting this error of different occasion since last 2 update. "Could not use the move tool because of a program error."

yes in the lower version 25.4 it works correctly

When I try to move one image to another image tab I get the error message "could not use the move tool because of a technical error" in Photoshop Beta. Until about a month ago, I never had this issue and moving images into other image tabs worked fine. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Beta and it doesn't help. Move tool works fine in my Photoshop 2024 (non Beta) app.

I have exactly the same proble its very annoying as I composite a lot of the time, often moving one image into another. Watching any response. Would appreciate suggestions.
