Hi!
I think AI found a simple fix - Go to Edit --> Preferences --> Interface and uncheck "Show menu colors".  I tried the longer method below and it also workd but this can be done inside Photoshop.   I hope this helps

Thanks, that did it. I figured there was an issue with the colors. I could turn some off, but others always reverted back.

I was using the default menus, but now I can make this change and use my .mnu file with trimmed down menus.

Removing the settings folder and generating new ones works, all menu items appear, editing the menus doesn't crash PS

@3Hounds understood, thanks.

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

All my contact info is with that email. As I just replied... PS didn't give a crash report, apple did, that's what I pasted in my 1st post. How else can I get you the info?

Cory,

Photoshop did not submit the crash report, the report was Apple generated. I checked the Adobe Crash Reporter app and it is configured as required. How else can I send the report that I do have?

OK Cory, I'll copy and paste it from here to the address you provided. Thanks.

Hi Caity, here you go... After I get "Menus" I can select "Revert" and PS crashes. Thanks

Hi @3Hounds
I'm not seeing any submitted crash reports from you in our system. If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html That will help us diagnose the crash.

To be clear, your CR data needs to be submitted via the crash dialoge. If you did report it but use a different email than the one you have here, let us know so we can bind your CR with your Adobe ID.  You can send the email to me: shubert@adobe.com

Don't post it here in the public forum.
