Normal Maps for future PS versions?

Hi everyone 🙂

Long-time Photoshop user and just wondering: I know there is a notification pops-up for any 3D-based 'Filters' in PS (I am using the latest Beta vsn) but will there still be a way to create a 'Normal Map' inside PS after the 3D filters are made redundant?

Wld I have to install an older vsn of PS? (I am on an M1 iMac with Ventura 13.4 currently) 

I use Normal Maps in my creative workflow and don't want to lose the ability to create my own inside PS if thats possible?
