Opening choice

Photoshop Beta 24.6.0, Windows 11

I've been a Phostoshop user since PS 4 and I have loved it since. I correct and enhance my photographs with Photoshop. I am happy to experiment with this new version, but I would have liked the oportunity to open an image from Camera Raw to my older version or this new one. It seems Camera Raw has defaulted to open to this new version.  This new version is not as intuitive. I would like to have the choice of which version to open to until I get to know the new. Also the new Camera Raw is very slow and freezes up with just about every move.

    @healdsburger Ps will always try to open in the latest version you have on your computer. Since Ps beta is the newest version and always will (should) be, if you double click a file it will open in Ps beta.  That is correct and is working as designed.

     

    You can always drag a file to the Ps window to open, or open Ps then use the home screen to select the file you wish to open.
