Most recent PS Beta 27.10 seems completely broken on my mac studio M2 Ultra 128Gb Ram

( OSX 26.5.1 )

all images that I open look completely washed out- They look good in all other
apps ( including release version of PS )
No problems at all yesterday with previous Beta version

In my case- the solution was to … drumroll
Check for ! ( the oposite of suggested solution )
“Precise color management for HDR display” in Settings > Technology previews.
( this option was unchecked when display was erratic )

I tried restarting several times ( both PS and my Mac )

It says in the dialog “changes will take effect the next time you start Photoshop”. So if it already was unchecked, you probably need to do it again.

Have to tried enabling - restart - disabling - restart? I think I read somewhere that this fixed it for someone who also had the option disabled.

Known and often reported bug in the Mac Photoshop version.

Uncheck “Precise color management for HDR display” in Settings > Technology previews.

Opposite worked for me, Was unchecked. I checked it and restarted and all good.

Reverted to 27.9 - all works properly.
