Product & Version: Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.11.0 20250810.m.3177 655ab8a x64 (beta, PublicBeta)
OS Version: Mac Sequoia 15.6
GPU: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Opened image 4000px width, 4000px height, 300ppi, Square Pixels 1.0).
2. kept 1 rasterized layer.
3. Apply Filter → Parametric Filters → Embroidery (default settings).
4. Output appears pixelated/noisy instead of showing stitch detail.
5. Happens regardless of Smart Object status, image resolution, or pixel aspect ratio.
6.
Expected Result:
Clean embroidery stitch effect with visible thread detail, as shown in Adobe’s feature demos.
Actual Result: Output is heavily pixelated, with blocky artifacts replacing the stitch pattern (see attached screenshot).
Troubleshooting Tried:
* Verified image resolution (2000–5000px range) and ppi (72 & 300 tested)
* Pixel aspect ratio set to 1.0 Square Pixels
* Tried rasterized and Smart Object layers
* Disabled all other Smart Filters
* GPU acceleration enabled (Preferences → Performance)
* Restarted Photoshop and system
* Issue persists
