Question

Pasting out of Photoshop causes a "restore down" of the Photoshop window (PS Beta 25.0.0)

Issue: Pasting an image out of PS into Word (and maybe other programs) un-maximizes PS.  (I'm aware this is like a 0.001 on a 0-10 annoyance scale, but it's new and different.) 

  • Photoshop version: Beta 25.0.0
  • OS: Windows 10 22H2


Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a selection
  2. Copy the selection (with CTRL-C in my case) 
  3. Switch to MS Word (V 14.0.6023.1000, 64-bit)
  4. Paste into Word

 

Expected result: No change in the size/position of the PS window
Actual result: Change in the size/position of the PS window

          Hi @BigDaveMattey testing here and it is working as expected.

           

          Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:

          Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut

          With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.
