Question

Pesky RGB slider in the Color panel.......

A question about Photoshop Beta - 28.0.1 release:
In the color panel on the right side, it now has a redundant RGB slider. How do I remove it? Dragging it upwards to hide it is not possible. Basically, some genius thought the RGB sliders must be displayed at all times for no good reason. What’s the way to remove/hide it???

Go to Settings > Interface, uncheck "Enable Modern User Interface," and restart the application.
This will revert it to the old UI.

    Old UI

    New UI

Hi Susumu, thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I found it by fumbling around the Preferences panel after my initial post.

I would like to use all the other features the Modern User Interface offers and so I was going to request the development team to make that an option in the Color Panel to be able to enable/disable the RGB sliders.

    Thanks again

I fixed it, but it must be an issue in Photoshop Beta with new features. I posted on the wrong forum. Thanks.

I don’t understand what RGB sliders the OP is referring to.

Top is the default view. The only way I can get RGB sliders is by checking it in the flyout menu (top right):

It is in the Beta version. Sorry for the confusion.

Have you tried resetting the Color panel or checking the workspace settings? Sometimes switching to another workspace and then back can clear up odd panel behavior. If the RGB sliders keep reappearing, it might help to know which Adobe app and version you're using, since the available panel options can differ.

Have you tried opening the Color panel menu in the top right corner and checking the panel options there? If that does not hide the slider, it may be worth reporting it as a Beta change, since that layout sounds like a new default rather than a setting you can turn off.

Yes, I checked and there is no option for hiding or collapsing the sliders. I will report it as you suggested. Thanks.

I was hoping the Adobe team will see the post and tell me I missed something simple and it was easy to hide.
