Question

Photoshop beta not clearing RAM

Hello, when I start working on my first photo, I have plenty of RAM. Everything works fine. When I close the first photo, photoshop doesn't clear the RAM and consumes more RAM.

After about 5 photo's (everytime closing the previous photo) I have to close and restart photoshop to continue working. (otherwise everythings slows down and eventualy freezes)

Is this problem solved with a setting? Is it a bug?

@Erik32522012u2zv This is normal. How much available RAM do you have?

Thank you Kevin for your reply. Is it normal to close and reopen photoshop after a few photo's? I assumed I have, more or less,  the same amount of available RAM after closing a photo, as when I just opened PS. I noticed it gets worse when I used radial gradient tool in camera raw. I have 32GB RAM. I've set the percentage for PS at 80%

@Erik32522012u2zv Go to Help Menu/System Info and copy and paste the report here. Total RAM is not the same as available RAM...
