Photoshop Beta Preferences will not go away after uninstalling the beta

I uninstalled the photoshop beta and now I am getting a popup that asks if I want to keep or remove my preferences or cancel the uninstall despite the fact that I have already uninstalled the beta.  No matter what I select in the popup it goes away for a few minutes and then pops up again later.  Even if I have the creative cloud app closed and it is not running it in the background, it will launch the app again to show me this popup over and over again and it is driving me nuts.  I have tried restarting my computer and running the repair option in the uninstaller app.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Luke, have you managed to uninstall the Beta version in the meantime? I have the same problem.

I also tried uninstalling the creative cloud app and reinstalling as well as reinstalling the photoshop beta and uninstalling again.  Neither solution worked.
