Yann, the purpose of the beta is to find and report bugs to the product developers. It does not help them if you are running older versions of the beta that have been fixed.

Since you can't update the beta on your old PC, you can run the released version instead of the beta. The released version won't warn you to update. Adobe offers the current and one previous version for download, so be sure to turn off automatic updates for the released version in the CC app until you can update your computer.

The popup to update on the beta will not be removed or closed, as it defeats the purpose of the beta.

 hello > same isse here . very anoying ;)))  and that s the reason i was going to post a message > here is a screen grab of the situation :

and for my case : its  25.2.0  release.

I can't update anymore because my CPU and GPU are now too old on this pc.

please add the option to close this message.   takes way too much space on a HD resolution screen ;)))

this is where my properties  AND/OR Layers tab goes ;)))

\thank you :)))

@Sufa5FE2 uninstall the current beta then refresh/restart the Creative Cloud app.

Most Photoshop betas do not show as an update in the CC Desktop app - they are full installs.

@Sufa5FE2

In addition to what Trevor said, updates may not appear for you if your computer does not meet the system requirements. You can check here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html

The purpose of Photoshop Beta is to find and report bugs to the engineers so they can be fixed. Using an older version of the beta version serves no purpose to Adobe, so you cannot get rid of that message until you upgrade to the newest beta.

What you can do is to use the released version of Photoshop instead of the beta. The upgrade message won't be there and you can use older versions as long as you want to.

What version do you have?

The current is 25.4.0   (Help > About Photoshop)

But if you go Help > System Info  you see additional version information.  The m.2426 is the important bit.

Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.4.0 20231207.m.2426 495b2d1 x64
