Photoshop Beta V. 24.7 can not open photos

Issue: 

PhotosPhotoshop Beta V. 24.7hop version: 

OS:  Windows 11 Home

Steps to reproduce:

... Can't send a photo from Lightroom to this Beta Version, previous no problem. Error
 Dialog Box (x) Could Not Complete request because of program error.
 Learn How to Fix, download latest version. (I have latest version) 
Can't close program. Same error. Have to kill program from Task Manager.
 Rerun program, can't open any photos, same error, program can't be closed
same error. Have to open Task Manager to shut down program.
Can't open photos saved from previous Beta Version. Same error.
This did not happen with previous Beta. Problem not happening with regular
photoshop version 24.6 
 At this point I can't evaluate this Beta Version as it does not open photos.
I thought you should now. 
Brand New Alienware Laptop meets and exceeds required Adobe specs

Expected result: Open photos, take photos from Lightroom
Actual result: Above Error, program unable to do anything just generates above error. Can only colose with Task Manager.

    I decided to un-install Beta V. 24.7.0 and re-install it. So far it seems to have resolved the issue. 

    I am not sure if this could have contributed, but I didn't notice the problem until after the Non-Beta version of Photoshop updated to version 24.6. This may be coincidence and I can not be sure the Beta version was not running while the Non-Beta Version was updating and if so could this have messed up something with the Beta Install? I don't know, but just throwing this out out there if you guys are trouble shooting. If my newly Re-Installed version starts acting up again I will let you know. Thanks and hope this helps someone.

    I'm struggling with the same issue. Cannot open anything from Lightroom into PS Beta.

      I too am having this issue. When I try to open a photo as a smart object from Lightroom into the regular Photoshop version 24.7 (not the Beta), Lightroom says there is no photo to process. Before, if Lightroom was trying to open in the Beta, I could open the regular version of Photoshop and it would open correctly. Now the photo won't open at all.

        Does anyone have any idea when it is safe to upgtrade to the latest Beta v25 ?

          I'm having the same issue. Takes minutes to open only to get an error message and then a copy file in Lightroom. I unistalled and trying installing again. Same issues.....     This only happened after I updated to the new Beta version.

           

          Help please.....

            I have the exact same problem but both with Photoshop (normal version) and Beta also. I can't open a single file. 
            My laptop is an Asus Zephyrus Duo 16 running on windows 11, nvidia geforce rtx 3080, 64gb RAM, 4TB SSD memory so mine also can handle PS very well. But PS won't handle my pics. I tried to reinstall but it didn't fix my issue. I am still unble to use it. And the behaviour is identical.

                The same case
                When I try to edit image from Lightroom to Photoshop it says that can't open a Photoshop .....  after minutes of doing .... nothing
                I don't want to reinstall because i have to reinstall all plugins, to set workspace and etc.
