Question

Photoshop beta v27.11

Hi everyone,

I was using Photoshop Beta 27.11 on Windows, but recently it suddenly stopped working and started giving me multiple “Photoshop.exe - Bad Image” errors.

The errors reference several DLL files inside:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\

including:

VulcanControl.dll
VulcanMessage5.dll
tbb12.dll
tbbmalloc.dll

They all show Error status: 0xc000012f.

Now I have another problem. Photoshop Beta has completely disappeared from the Creative Cloud desktop app.

I am not saying that I can't find the Beta section. The Beta tab is still there, but Photoshop Beta itself is no longer listed anywhere. I have searched for “Photoshop,” “Beta,” and checked the Beta section. Regular Photoshop appears, but Photoshop Beta 27.11 does not.

Because it is no longer listed, I can't reinstall or uninstall Photoshop Beta through Creative Cloud.

Has Photoshop Beta 27.11 temporarily been pulled from Creative Cloud, or is there currently a known issue causing it to disappear for some Windows users?

It was available to me before these DLL errors started happening, so I'm wondering if the two problems are related.

Thanks for any help!
