Photoshop Beta will not open after close

Thank you for your sysinfo and reply @rpurdum, lets try to clean out the preference file as this sounds like something has become corrupted.

 

For Ps:

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere: 

Restore your preferences using this manual method:  

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually  

Does it work correctly? 

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. 

 

For Ps Beta:

/Users/yoourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings 

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut

With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

you are seeing this issue. What error do you see or what is happening when
you try to open Ps again? Please share with us what you are seeing so the
team can get an idea on what might be happening.

Reply: I had to use gmail to respond due to my original email being
rejected. When I double-click on either Photoshop or Photoshop Beta, nothing
happens. Neither program attempts to open after the first time either has
opened. Task Manager has no related applications, services running related
to either one. I understand this is aBeta version and if this is all that
is in error, we should all be thrilled.
Photoshop 24.0.0 did have any issues prior to loading Photoshop Beta. No
worries, they are both functional; this is just a gnat in my ear.
