Driver version: 31.0.15.2647 - this driver appears to be very old, if there is an update please do so and restart your computer and then Ps, does the issue persist?

thank you for your quick reply; I tried to follow your instructions but the result does not change at all.
After closing and reopening Photoshop Beta it is no longer possible to open or create new projects; at the moment the only solution seems to be to uninstall the APP and then reinstall it.

Perhaps with future releases everything will be fixed.

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut

With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.
