PS 26.8 build 20250508.m.3068 lagging

Hello,

Ever since the last update, anytime I have PS 26.8 open, my system laggs every few (5-10 min)  minutes, regardless of current activity.  For example, with Lightroom 17.3.1 and PS 26.8 open (no file open in PS), I can go into LR and begin doing selections on images say from a sports picture day and every few minutes it laggs so bad for about 10-20 seconds to locks the machine up.  It has caused numerous delays in my workflow having to wait or correct an issue that occured during the lag with me clicking somewhere uninteded.  I've attached my system info so you can see that my system is more than equipped to handle this workload without any lag.  I have seen reports of other people experiencing the same lag issues and am wondering if Adobe has confirmed issue and are working on solution.  I may need to roll back to an earlier version because of the impact on my work flow and I also don't want to take a chance on sending out a client's order with a messed up image because a toll made a mark/smear/smudge that I missed.  Thanks for your time.
