PS hangs when using the repair tool

Whenever I use the repair tool, PS hangs. I can select an area to repair, but as soon as I click inside the selected area PS hangs. Tested a couple of times (rebooted, waited a day and so on...). It's consistent in hanging. Working on Windows 10.
