It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thanks for replying. Will do when I get a chance, but just so you are clear, it is not peculiar to this particular preset, the select and mask dialog in the beta resets to a default condition each time the app is closed and reopened, no matter the which preset is used, or indeed even if no preset as used. It simply forgets all settings each time.

-manual replacement of Ps beta prefs

-quit Ps beta

-Log out of CCD

-restart computer

-Log in to CCD

-Launch Ps beta, does this issue persist?
