Can't use the tool because the target layer is unsupported.

I had the same problem.  Rasterize your layer.  Then try.  Worked for me.

To resolve the Remove Tool issue in Photoshop Beta, follow these steps:

  • 1. Check the Layer Type: Ensure the layer is a raster layer. If it isn't, right-click the layer and select "Rasterize Layer."
  • Unlock the Layer: Verify that the layer is not locked. If it is, click the lock icon next to the layer name in the Layers panel to unlock it.
  • Simplify Layers: If you're working with complex layers, such as smart objects, try merging or flattening them. It's essential to manage compatibility and ensure proper data handling, much like ensuring the correct tool and layer compatibility in Photoshop.  Just as addressing issues in Bursa liseler requires careful consideration of compatibility and functionality, the same attention to detail is needed in these technical integrations.

To fix the "Remove Tool" issue in Photoshop Beta:

  1. Check Layer Type: Make sure the layer is a raster layer. Right-click the layer and select “Rasterize Layer” if needed.
  2. Unlock the Layer: Ensure the layer is not locked. Click the lock icon next to the layer name in the Layers panel to unlock it.
  3. Simplify Layers: If using complex layers like smart objects, try merging or flattening them.

For those integrating ERP systems for non-profit organizations into WordPress, managing compatibility and ensuring correct data handling is crucial, similar to addressing tool and layer compatibility in Photoshop.

I'm getting the same issue using Mac Desktop app, it says layer unsupported and I've selected "Sample all layers" and I have the latest version of the app.

@Karol302414416mfb what version of the beta are you on? We have heard customers say that the latest version solved this for them.

What kind of layer are you using Remove tool with?

Does it work with a new blank layer, and check "Sample all layers" in the tool options bar at the top?
