Question

Remove tool gives grey strokes

I tried the remove tools on several images, with several sizes. It rarely works for me. Very often it paints grey strokes... As if I would paint in grey. The grey color has nothing to do with my images.

I am using version 24.5.

Does anyone have that effect? Is the bug already known?

I have this same issue.  I'm using Mac Studio M1, with OS 15.5.  Only the remove tool shows gray strokes.  Other selection tools show magenta.  The tool seems to work OK, but the gray is harder to see.  I did all of the recommended fixes including "More stable", and iCloud processing.  Nothing seems to work for me.  Thanks.

Not sure if this could be it but my MacBook is using Montery 12.7 and my Imac is one version of Montery older. Almost afraid to update any more. Never sure whats not going to work...

I get the same thing on my MacBook Pro but not on my Imac. Uninstalled and reinstalled PS V25 but the same thing. Are you using a Mac and what version of PS are your running?

Hi @Fabrice30094441lb14 curious what happens if you use More stable, or are you using it now?

I still get the same with beta version 25.0.

Am I the only one??? This makes the tool unusable.

I get the same.

BUT I noticed that if make a bigger selection or hold longer then it at least does something, even if not perfect. Short selections never work.

Note: I just tried the 24.6 beta and I get the same. Worked 1 in 5 times.

Example: I tried to remove a cloud on the left. The spot is now completely grey. I get the same almost everywhere. I only saw the tool working a few times. Most of the time I get grey spots.
